She studied South East Asian languages & cultures. Because of the Asia crisis, she did not end up working in this field. She worked at IBM for 6 years in different roles, amongst others selling IT solutions and as Talent Manager for the Benelux. In the meantime she was given the opportunity to pursue an MBA at Webster University. She learned a lot, both from her professors and fellow students who came from all over the world and from a lot of different companies.
